Our story
Welcome to Jess' Happy Hounds. After years working in customer service I am proud to be offering this exciting, new bespoke and tailored dog walking and pet services business to Malton & surrounding areas. I have years of experience with all types of dogs from working dogs on a farm, guard dogs as well as smaller pets, I have always loved and been comfortable around cats, reptiles, rodents, farm animals, and an eternal love of horses.
I am happy to come by for a free initial consultation for pet sitting, dog walking or whatever need you have for your pets/animals. This can be on a regular or ad hoc basis.
I have 2 dogs of my own, a Patterdale who's been part of my life since since 2016, and now also a Lurcher who came into our family just over a year ago now. They are my world and I would take your of your pets like they are my own, offering positive and reward based walks and visits.

One-on-one walks
Does your dog prefer to be walked alone, or need special attention or training? One-on-one is a great way to build their confidence whether that’s with different people, walking on the lead or socialising. This can apply to one household group too.
Group walks
Our group walks are the perfect way to socialise your dog and introduce them to new friends. I will only ever walk a small group so i’m able to give the whole group my full attention. This will be a max of 4 on lead/general walk (per the council), and a max of 7 in a secure dog park (Ryedale Dog Field).
Pet sitting
Feeding and visits/pet sitting. This would be in your own home and can be with them the majority of the time or drop in and spend night there according to what you prefer for your pet as well as walks and feeding. This applies to other pets and farm animals/horses.
Emergency call-outs
If you need to last minute help or perhaps your dog needs to be taken to the vet and you’re not able to take them I can help and support wherever necessary.
Wedding & events
Want your pet to be a part of your special day? I can attend and look after your pets so they can be part of your day but you can relax knowing they are being looked after.
Pet Taxi
Pet taxi - as mentioned before we can help take them to the vet or if you just need help with say a house move we can help eliminate the stress for them/help move animals.
