Do you have any advice on feeding our dog?

There is this link about feeding your dog - https://www.medivet.co.uk/pet-care/pet-advice/your-complete-guide-to-dog-nutrition/  Avoid derivitives in dog's food/dyes, dogs can’t see this and it's not good for them. Under no circumstance feed your dog raw pork as it can make them extremely ill.  We recommend Apex Canine nutrition - https://www.cscanine.co.uk/apex-dog-food Always discuss with your vet if they have any dietary requirements/health issues.

First aid advice?

https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/dogs/health/firstaid

How much you exercise your dogs and how much you feed them and what their needs are is different for each breed, age and lifestyle of the individual dog. A pug will not have the same needs as say a GSD and a working boarder collie will not have the same needs as a pet who's also a boarder collie. It is our duty to look after them and not cause harm, exercise included as it’s a basic need.

Did you know in an emergency you can go/call the nearest vet. It does not have to be your usual one. Try to avoid cuddling/hugging your pet and be aware they may be more prone to biting and in last case need to be muzzled so they don't hurt you or themselves. Your first aid is paramount.

Can I travel with my pet?

Rule 57 of the Highway Code states that dogs (or any other animal) should be suitably restrained while in a vehicle so they can't distract the driver or cause injury to themselves or others in the event of an accident. This can lead to a fine up to £5,000 and even an appearance in court.
